Growing up I perceived my home(s) as though I was looking at them from inside a moving car. Detached from surroundings, never too close, and when the scenery became familiar, on to the next – consequently making the concept of ‘home’ very complicated. And homesickness? Unheard of. Because of this relationship with place, I found little pieces of my identity scattered in a number of different locations.

This lead me to question and observe a variety of concepts along the lines of identity, authenticity and culture within this fast evolving digital society. Witnessing the transition the world made from the streets to the digital world has played an important role in my life. This is what I also like use as my playground to produce artwork, which consists of digital abstractions of hands-on processes.
