Social circles and virtual spaces in this online platform are an ongoing investigation due to the change of the environment from a physical reality to a digital way of learning, working and communicating. I continue to take inspiration from consumer culture which is a problem that is always on my mind and this is where my materials are sourced from for collage and sketches. 

 

Since the pandemic these previous mediums have transitioned into the space of video experimentation and digital collage. Following this, my interests are developing around the concept of appropriating and mutating found images and sounds combining them with my own to provide a progression into 4-D realm that explores themes of identity and non-identity similarly to how reality versus the virtual persona or an online presence is embedded in image and value. Interpreting this is becoming a new concept to produce artwork around the outcomes are often chaotic and unapologetically expressive, the results are always unpredictable as I practice working in an intuitive process.
